Kohli anchored one end and made his 52nd century, scoring 135 in 120 balls with 11 fours and 7 sixes to his name. He was dismissed by Nandre Burger in the 43rd over.
KL Rahul (60) and Ravindra Jadeja (32) provided impetus to the Indian innings in the final overs. In the end, India posted 349/8 in 50 overs. For South Africa, all four pacers took two wickets each, with Ottneil Baartman being the best with 2/60.
