India have been asked to chase down 192 runs to win the Ranchi Test.
India’s first innings ended at 307 with Dhruv Jurel scoring 90 and shepherding the tail to ensure that India reduced the deficit to 46 runs. It was a brilliant innings from the young India keeper-batter who had added 76 runs with Kuldeep Yadav (28) for the 8th wicket.
Meanwhile, England didn’t start well with R Ashwin striking twice in one over as Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope got out in 5th over. Zak Crawley then made 60 runs to give England a good platform, but then Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav ran through the opposition's batting line up.
Jonny Bairstow made 30 runs, but England was bowled out for 145 runs with Ashwin taking 5/51 and Kuldeep taking 4/22. India has been asked to chase down 192 runs to win the 4th Test in Ranchi and go 3-1 up in the series and pocket the series.
Meanwhile, India captain Rohit Sharma was once again in the limelight due to his comments, which were caught on stump mic. He was captured sternly reminding Sarfaraz Khan to wear a helmet when he was fielding in close to the batter.
In the clip that has been going viral all over social media, Rohit can be seen warning Sarfaraz saying, “Aye bhai, hero nahi banne ka."
