Hardik Pandya, former India T20I skipper, was in fine form with the bat, the ball, and in the field, as India thumped Bangladesh by 7 wickets.

Hardik Pandya took two catches and took one wicket with the ball as Bangladesh was bowled out for 127 runs after being asked to bat first by India captain Suryakumar Yadav, who won the toss. Mehidy Hasan Miraz with 35* and Najmul Hossain Shanto with 27 were the main run-getters for the visitors.

Arshdeep Singh picked 3/14, while Varun picked 3/31. Mayank Yadav impressed with his pace in his first outing for India and had figures of 1/21 including a maiden over.

In return, Abhishek Sharma blazed to 16 runs before being run out, while Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav made 29 in quick time. However, the end of the match was swift as Hardik Pandya hammered 39* in 16 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes.

He played shots all over the ground and one of his brilliant shots showcased the talent he has and the swag he possesses.

Taskin Ahmed bowled a short delivery angled into Hardik Pandya on the second ball of the 12th over. However, Hardik Pandya nonchalantly let the ball hit the slice of the bat and it flew over the keeper’s head for a boundary.

Pandya didn’t even look where the ball went and stared at Taskin while chewing his gum and oozing swag.

Here is the video:

The shot was so audacious that even Lasith Malinga, who has been associated with Hardik Pandya’s IPL franchise Mumbai Indians, couldn’t help himself from praising the all-rounder. He wrote on X: “That was some shot @hardikpandya7

Former India opener Aakash Chopra was also gob-smacked with the way Hardik Pandya played the no-look shot. He also posted on X: “What was that shot, Hardik.!!! The no-look ramp. Unbelievable execution. Enviable attitude.”
