Mehidy Hasan Miraz presented Rohit Sharma with a bat made by his company.
Last year, Mehidy founded the bat firm 'MKS Sports' with Imrul Kayes and other friends. After the Test series ended, the all-rounder decided to give the Indian skipper a gift.
In a video posted to the MKS Sports Facebook page, Mehidy stated that he has always wanted to give Rohit a bat as a gift. The Bangladesh all-rounder was visibly pleased with the situation and stated it as well.
"I am with Rohit bhai and I gifted him a bat from my company. I always wished to give him a bat and so I am very happy," said Mehidy said in a video shared on Facebook.
Rohit would also discuss the present, saying he had known Mehidy for a long time and regarded him as a great cricketer. The India skipper expressed his pride in seeing the all-rounder launch his own firm and hoped Mehidy further success with the bat company.
"I know Mehidy from a long time. He is a very good cricketer. And I am very proud of him that he has started his own bat company along with some of his friends. I want to wish him all the best, May god give him all the success. And I hope this company will rise above everyone else," said Rohit.

Mehidy will now be part of the T20I series while Rohit will have a small break before the New Zealand Test series.
