Rohit Sharma to lead India in two-Test series against Bangladesh.
Rohit Sharma, India captain is prepping hard for the upcoming Test season for India. India is set to play 10 Test matches, five at home and five in Australia. The season will begin with Bangladesh visiting India for a two-match Test series starting September 19.
The 37-year-old will captain India's squad in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. Rohit, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Jasprit Bumrah did not play in the first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024.
Rohit relished his break from cricket following the conclusion of the Sri Lanka trip in early August. In addition to spending much-needed personal time with his family, Rohit was seen working out at the gym.
Rohit Sharma shared his silly 1% side, in addition to training 99% of the time. He joined the widespread Instagram trend in which people reveal their 99% and remaining 1% sides.
The first part showed Rohit working out rigorously and intensely at the gym, with the subtitle "Works out 99% of the time". The second half of the video saw Rohit being funny and amusing, taunting his gym-mates and laughing his heart out.
The clip captured the captain's mindset wonderfully, as he could be intense on the field while still channeling his inner Mumbaikar and being humorous.
