Root and Stokes shared a picture with India captain Virat Kohli while congratulating the home team.
England captain Joe Root is moving ahead with a lot of learnings from the Test series against India. It was a tough series for Root and co as they found it hard to cope up with the challenges presented by Indian spinners.
The visitors got defeated by 3-1 in the four-match series which also took away their chances of qualifying for the World Test Championship final. After the series, Root and Ben Stokes shared a post and added a picture with India captain Virat Kohli.

The English skipper thanked India for hospitality while talking about India being a top-class side. "A lot to take and learn from this tour - we’ll keep pushing to improve as individuals and as a team.
"Congratulations to a top-class India team on the series win and thank you for the hospitality," he tweeted.
Stokes acknowledged it was not an easy Test series for England and congratulated India for the win. "A tough series against a great team. Congrats to India! We move on," he wrote.
After the Test series, India and England will play the five-match T20I series, starting March 12 at Ahmedabad.
