Kevin Pietersen posted a video on Instagram slamming the batsmen for failure in Day-Night Test.
Ex-England cricketer Kevin Pietersen disagrees with the talks going around about the poor pitch at Ahmedabad for pink-ball Test between India and England. He talked about the quality of batting from both India and England which ended the match inside 2 days at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Pietersen highlighted that most of the dismissals in the third Test were on straighter deliveries. India batsman Rohit Sharma agreed with him and reacted to his Instagram video after the match.
"All I am going to say is that the batting was dreadful and awful from both teams. I think if they are honest with themselves, they will admit they batted poorly. 21 of the 30 dismissals came from straight deliveries. There was nothing dangerous on the wicket, there just needed to be better batting. With better batting, this would have gone to Day 3, maybe Day 4," Pietersen said.
Rohit commented on the video and wrote, "Thankfully someone here understands the game."

The India opener was the top scorer in the Test match. He scored 66 runs in the first innings and remained not out on 25 while chasing 49 in the second innings.
India won the third Test by 10 wickets which ensured England get knocked out of the World Test Championship. Now, only India and Australia are contenders to book a place in the final.
The Virat Kohli-led side will have to avoid a loss in the last Test to secure a place in the WTC final against New Zealand.
