Zimbabwe batting coach Lance Klusener lavished rich praise on Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya. He also talked about the exposure his side will get with the ODI series against India, starting August 18.
Ever since Pandya made his comeback to the Indian side after a prolonged injury, he has looked a class apart with both bat and ball. He has provided his team with crucial finishes as a batter and also has chipped in with the ball at important stages of the match.
His impressive comeback was lauded by many and he even got the opportunity to lead the side during the Ireland series, where India completed a 2-0 whitewash under him.

Hardik is making his presence felt in every series he’s playing. In the recently held England and West Indies tour, he delivered in almost every match and also became the first Indian to take 50 wickets and score 500 runs in the shortest format of the game.
Although Pandya has been rested for the Zimbabwe series he surely has provided the Indian team with a different dimension. His performance has been lauded by many as well.
In an interaction with the Times of India, Zimbabwe batting coach Lance Klusener said that Pandya adds glue to white-ball sore and when he’s in flow Indian team looks completely different.
"A fast-bowling all-rounder like Hardik Pandya adds glue to any white-ball side or to any cricket team. It's so good to have him back and is getting into the form we are accustomed to. The Indian team looks a different side when Hardik Pandya is in full flow,” Lance Klusener said.
Klusener said that the series against India will be a great learning curve for Zimbabwe as it provides a great opportunity for their players to grow.
"It will be a great learning curve for a team like Zimbabwe to play against a top side like India. It's a good challenge for us and an opportunity for our players to learn and grow," he said.
Pandya will come back to the Indian team for the Asia Cup 2022. He’s expected to play a big role for his side in the tournament along with the T20 World Cup 2022.
