The Women’s Premier League (WPL 2025) schedule was announced by the BCCI on Thursday, January 16, 2025. The third season of the world's finest women's T20 league will take place in four cities: Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai, offering a festival of exhilarating T20 action.

The tournament will begin on February 14th at the newly built BCA Stadium in Baroda, with the Gujarat Giants (GG) facing battle against defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a high-octane season opening.

Baroda will host six matches before the action changes to Bengaluru, where RCB will play their first home game against the fearsome Mumbai Indians (MI), champions of the first WPL season, on February 21st at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

RCB will have three more chances to impress their home audience when they welcome UP Warriorz (UPW) on February 24th, GG on February 27th, and Delhi Capitals (DC) on March 1st. Lucknow will make its WPL debut this season, to add to the excitement, with UPW hosting three matches at their home ground beginning March 3rd.

The last part of the competition will take place in Mumbai, with the legendary Cricket Club of India (CCI) hosting the final two league matches and two high-stakes Playoff games. Mumbai Indians will end the league stage with back-to-back home games against GG and RCB on March 10th and 11th, respectively.

The winner of the first Qualifier will gain direct entry into the WPL 2025 final. The second and third-placed teams will face off in what promises to be an exciting Eliminator on Thursday, March 13th, for a chance to compete in the Grand Final. The ultimate fight for the coveted trophy is set for Saturday, March 15th.

The upcoming edition of the WPL will not have any afternoon matches, removing double headers from the schedule. All matches will be played under lights beginning at 7.30 p.m. IST.
