UP Warriorz opened their Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 campaign with a three-wicket victory over Gujarat Giants at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (March 5).

Kiran Navgire was one of the stars in Warriorz’s victory while chasing the target of 170. Batting at No. 3, she produced a stunning knock of 53 from 43 balls when the team was reeling at 20/3. Her knock was studded with 7 fours and 3 sixes.

With 70 needed off the last five overs, Harris took the Gujarat attack to the cleaners, slamming 59 not out 26 balls. On the other hand, Sophie returned with a dazzling cameo of 12-ball 22* as UP Warriorz overhauled the target in 19.5 overs.
