Dwayne Bravo meeting the Indian players and support staff members | BCCI/ScreengrabTeam India are having a great time in the ongoing all-format tour of the Caribbean. After winning the two-match Test series 1-0, they are currently facing West Indies in a three-match ODI series.

While the Men in Blue won the first ODI by five wickets in Barbados, they suffered a six-wicket defeat in the second game at the same venue.

Both teams are now sweating it out at the nets for the third ODI, slated to be held in Trinidad on Tuesday (August 1).

On the eve of the series-decider, Indian players were greeted by two special locals when they arrived at their team hotel in Trinidad.

Former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo and his young son were at the team hotel to meet and greet the Indian squad.

In a video shared by BCCI on X, Bravo can be seen shaking hands and hugging the Indian cricketers and support staff members, including skipper Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid.

Incidentally, Virat Kohli didn’t feature in the video. Apparently, the star batter arrived late in Trinidad ahead of the third ODI.

Here’s the video:

Notably, the Indian team management decided to rest Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for the second ODI to test the bench strength.

However, the move backfired badly as the tourists lost the match comprehensively after getting bowled out for a paltry 181 in 40.5 overs.
