In the ongoing ODI series against West Indies, India’s Shubman Gill has impressed one and all with his strokeplay.
The right-hander looked million-dollar while batting at the top in the first two games and he continued his brilliance in the ongoing third ODI in Trinidad on Wednesday (July 27).
Gill was batting on 51 at the time of writing this and his half-century was studded with 3 fours and 1 maximum. In particular, his six caught everyone’s attention as it was a monstrous one, travelling 104-meter.
The six came in the 15th over of India’s innings as Gill danced down the track and launched Hayden Walsh’s leg-break over long-on, leading to the fourth umpire bringing out a new box of balls.

After India opted to bat first, Shubman Gill put on 113 runs for the opening wicket with stand-in skipper Shikhar Dhawan, who got out for 58.
The visitors were on 115/1 after 24 overs as rain interrupted play in the third ODI.
