Indian all-rounder Akshar Patel was the hero of the second ODI, as Team India won a thrilling encounter by 2 wickets to clinch the ongoing three-match ODI series against the West Indies on Sunday (July 24), with one match to go to be played on Wednesday (July 27).

After taking one wicket in his 9 overs while conceding 40 runs against the West Indies, Patel took charge of the Indian team when they needed someone to step up with the bat in the match. The all-rounder hammered an unbeaten knock of 64 runs and even finished off the match in style by hitting a six in MS Dhoni’s style to win the match for India in the final over against the West Indies.

He was also involved in a 51-run partnership with Deepak Hooda (33) in the second ODI, where his brilliant efforts with the bat won him the Player-of-the-Match award. It was also his maiden ODI fifty.

Well, after the match, Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal returned with his new episode of "Chahal TV" and the BCCI shared a clip on its official Twitter handle on Monday (July 25). In the amusing video, Chahal, Patel, and Avesh Khan can be seen having some fun time with each other in front of the camera.

Well, Chahal started the hilarious interaction by asking Akshar on 'Chahal TV': “Man of the match, mila kya (Did you get the man of the match)?”  To which the all-rounder replied by saying: “Player of the match mila (got the player of the match award)”.

After which, Chahal can be seen saying: “I bit all my nails offs. The pressure was so much sitting outside. Itna toh Shaadi ke time nahi aaya tha.” Then, the trio discussed the tense last few overs in the match.

Patel said: “Avesh bhaiya used his brains. He said look, all the bowlers have finished their 10 overs which means that maybe a part-timer will have to bowl the last over. So I just thought not to take too much risk before the 50th over.”

Well now, Avesh also joined the conversation, saying he had a lot of fun batting with Akshar, who told him to play freely. Patel signed off by saying about his knock, “When we reached the 39th over (Deepak) Hooda and I were saying that there is just 11 overs left and we have to score around 105 runs. So we may to go at a run rate of 9.5 or 10. This normally happens in the IPL as well and we will just play with intent and not think too much. Just take a chance in every over and that should be enough.”
