Indian cricket team fans have been simmering with anger given that left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has not been given chances for quite some time now, despite a good debut against England recently.
Everything came to a boil when the Indian playing XI for the second ODI against West Indies on July 24 was revealed and while many expected Arshdeep Singh to be included in the team, instead Avesh Khan was handed his ODI debut, replacing Prasidh Krishna.
Khan has already featured in 9 T20Is where he has picked up 8 wickets. And as is the norm, with every selection, there are a host of debates and deliberations on social media.
Fans were not too happy with the continued absence of Arshdeep Singh from the playing XI. The left-arm seamer has been with the Indian squad since his superb IPL 2022 season. Arshdeep played one T20I for India and then was sidelined first due to a side strain and then has not been able to find a place back into India XI.
Still Indian team fans took out their anger at the team management on Twitter on the continuous absence of Arshdeep Singh from the playing XI.
