New Zealand will look to clinch the series when they take on West Indies in the second T20I match in Mount Maunganui on Sunday, November 29, 2020. New Zealand lead 1-0 in the series after 5 wickets win in the first T20I in Auckland.

In the first T20I, New Zealand had an average outing as couple of their bowlers did well but other bowlers failed and then in batting top order couldn't perform. Debutant David Conway impressed with his 40 odd runs knock. All-rounder Jimmy Neesham also batted well. In the bowling, Lockie Ferguson was top class with a five-wicket haul. The likes of Martin Guptill, Ross Taylor, Tim Seifert and Kyle Jamieson need to do much better in this match.

On the other hand, West Indies openers did well but their middle order collapsed as Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell failed and they need to come good in this match. Captain Kieron Pollard was outstanding and he will look to continue his good form. In bowling, Sheldon Cottrell and Oshane Thomas did well but the likes of Kesrick Williams and Keemo Paul need to work on their line and lengths.
