On the fourth day Pakistan resumed their batting but they lost Shan Masood and Ifthikhar Ahmed cheaply and at 94/5 were in big trouble but Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan's 132 runs partnership for the sixth wicket rebuilt the innings and gave some hope to Pakistan.

Babar Azam brought up his second Test hundred but he couldn't convert it into a big hundred. Mohammad Rizwan missed his maiden Test ton by just 5 runs and eventually, the whole team bowled out for 335 runs and lost the match by innings and 5 runs.
