
In the just-concluded two Tests series against Sri Lanka, New Zealand wicketkeeper BJ Watling played an important role with bat and was also named Player of the Series.
In the second innings of the first Test in Galle, he scored important 77 runs and in the second Test in Colombo, he scored a match-winning hundred.
