At a recent event in Chennai, former Team India captain MS Dhoni showed off the playful side of star batter Virat Kohli. According to the renowned cricketer, when Kohli is in the mood, he is the perfect entertainment package and loves to sing, dance, and mimicry.
During their time together in the Indian team, Dhoni and Kohli had a strong relationship. The pair's coordination was superb, particularly when they were dashing between wickets. It's important to note that Kohli started his international career under Dhoni's tutelage before assuming captaincy in all formats.
MS Dhoni talked candidly about Virat Kohli's amusing side. He claimed that when in the mood, Kohli can perform mimicry of others in addition to singing and dancing, making him a true entertainer.
"He also sings well. He is a good singer. He is a good dancer. He is good in mimicry. If he is in the mood, he is very, very entertaining,” said Dhoni at the event.
Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni helped India win the Champions Trophy in 2013 and the World Cup in 2011. Interestingly, they have also faced off in intense IPL games. While Kohli won his maiden IPL championship with RCB in 2025, Dhoni has led CSK to five titles.
