West Indies fast bowler Shamar Joseph rattled the Australians with a four-wicket haul on day one of the first Test between the two sides in Barbados on June 25. Australia captain Pat Cummins had won the toss and chose to bat first.
But before that, on the eve of the Test match, former Australia keeper-batter Ian Healy had taunted Shamar Joseph. Former Australian wicketkeeper Healy criticized the fast bowler for telling Sam Konstas to "look out" during the first Test.
"OK Shamar, well you've delivered crap all year. So, he'd better improve, that's what I'm saying. 'He's got real trouble. 'You're not Curtly Ambrose, champ," Healy said on SEN ahead of the first Test.
Four of the 14 wickets that were lost at Bridgetown on the first day, including, strangely, Konstas', went to Joseph. Australian opener Konstas was hit on the back leg during the match's fourth over. In addition to Joseph's 4/46, Jayden Seales (5/60) was the West Indies' best bowler.

The Australian batting has been harassed by Joseph before. Joseph grabbed six wickets in a remarkable 10-over stint in January 2024, his sole Test match, when Australia was unable to reach the 216-run total.
The visitors prevailed by 8 runs at the Gabba, their first victory on Australian territory in 27 years, and he ultimately recorded figures of 7/68.
At the end of play, West Indies stood at 57/4, failing to capitalize on the low total. For the first time since 2015, Australia is participating in a Test series in the West Indies.
