Ace Australian batter Glenn Maxwell hammered his eighth T20 century and maiden century in MLC 2025 in the recent game between Washington Freedom and Los Angeles Knight Riders on June 17 at the Oakland Coliseum, California.
For the first time in MLC history, the Australian all-rounder broke the triple-figure mark by smashing the LA balls all over the park with 13 sixes.
In the MLC encounter on Wednesday, Maxwell won the toss and chose to bat first. With his outstanding performance, he helped the Washington Freedom post a huge score.
With 11 runs off 15 balls, the Australian great got off to a somewhat slow start when he came out to bat at number 6. But then Maxwell hit three sixes and took off in the fourteenth over of the innings.
After opening with 11 runs in 15 balls, the 36-year-old went into overdrive, scoring 89 runs off just 37 balls to achieve his century in a scorching 48 deliveries. His electrifying knock of 106 off 49 balls featured a staggering 13 sixes and 2 fours.
