
After announcing his retirement from Test cricket, ace India batter Virat Kohli, along with wife Anushka Sharma, visited Vrindavan to pay a visit to Premanand Maharaj’s Ashram. The couple is known to be followers of Swami Premanand Maharaj and have been seen in Vrindavan often.
Virat Kohli sent shockwaves in cricketing community after he announced retirement from the traditional format after 14 years. He retired after playing 123 Tests since making his debut in 2011 in West Indies. He made 9230 runs with 30 centuries and 31 fifties and an average of 48.65.
He is India’s fourth-highest run-getter in the format, behind Sachin Tendulkar (15,921 runs), Rahul Dravid (13,265 runs), and Sunil Gavaskar (10,122 runs).
Anushka and Virat visited Vrindavan on Tuesday to seek blessings from Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj. Several videos of Virat and Anushka cruising around together in a car in Vrindavan have surfaced on social media.
In another video, Virat and Anushka are seen sitting in front of Premanand Maharaj, who was talking to them and answering their questions.
