MS Dhoni, the wicketkeeper batter for the Chennai Super Kings, recently attended a media event on the sidelines of the IPL 2025. During the occasion, Dhoni requested water, and someone carefully lobbed a bottle at him, which he expertly grabbed.
Dhoni held the microphone, and the 43-year-old joked that his catching abilities remained strong. A little video of Dhoni making the catch and saying the four words has gone popular on the internet.
On Sunday, Dhoni returned to the cricket field for the IPL 2025 encounter between the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians in Chennai. CSK's next encounter is also in Chennai. It appears that Dhoni attended a commercial function during the interval between the two matches.
After catching the bottle of water, Dhoni drank from it and then casually mentioned: “Catching is still good”, much to the applause from the crowd.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni returned to the cricketing field when CSK took on MI in the first match of the IPL 2025 on March 23. Dhoni, 43, is nearing the conclusion of his career, having retired from international cricket five years ago and now playing solely for Chennai after leading the side to five IPL titles.
Dhoni demonstrated his prowess once more on Sunday, March 23, when he peeled off the bails in an instant from Noor Ahmad's ball, sending Suryakumar back to the hut.
CSK will next play RCB, also in Chennai, on March 28 in the ongoing IPL 2025.
