MS Dhoni, former India captain, channeled his inner ‘Animal’ in the new e-bike ad featuring the director of the Ranbir Kapoor-starring film, Sandeep Vanga Reddy. Dhoni portrayed Ranbir's renowned part in the film, Ranvijay Singh, in an advertisement for EMotorad, an electric bicycle manufacturer.
Dhoni was spotted mimicking the scenes where Ranbir scarily exits his car in the Animal movie and crosses the road with his gang. The twist, however, was that the CSK legend crossed the road with one of the electric cycles.
This resulted in a conversation between Vanga and Dhoni, with the filmmaker praising the former Indian captain's acting and claiming that audiences would adore it. Dhoni, remaining in character, mimicked Ranbir once again and uttered one of his famous lines from the movie.
He says, "Sunaiye de raha hai mujhe, behra nahi hu main (I can hear; I'm not deaf)."
The second part of the ad shows MS Dhoni riding the e-bike, copying Ranvijay's entry in the movie, sporting a mullet hairstyle.
Vanga went on to declare that it would be a huge success, prompting Dhoni to wonder if he was going overboard. He had to inform the director that it was an advertisement for an electric cycle, but Vanga was not willing to back down.
The final shot came from the Animal movie's finale moment, in which Dhoni copied Ranbir once more.
