Jasprit Bumrah, premier fast bowler for India, has begun bowling at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. The bowler shared a video of himself bowling for the first time since his injury. He hasn't played cricket since the last Test match in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024–2025.
Due to a back ailment, Bumrah, who is now considered the best fast bowler in the world, was unable to play in the Champions Trophy or the bilateral series against England. The bowler was forced to leave the Sydney Test, the last game of the India-Australia series, halfway through.
