Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh enthralled fans as he took an amazing diving catch at the boundary during a match for India Masters in the ongoing International Masters’ League 2025. This was India’s first match of the tournament against the Sri Lanka Masters.
The 43-year-old, who is long past his peak, made a spectacular catch while diving while playing in Mumbai on Saturday, February 22.
The incident occurred during the eighth over of the International Masters League match between Sri Lanka and India. Sri Lanka got off to a fast start as they chased 223 runs against India. Yuvraj Singh's spectacular catch on the boundary line stunned Sri Lankan batters Kumar Sangakkara and Lahiru Thirimanne just when they believed they could defeat India.
In the eighth over of the chase, which was bowled by Irfan Pathan, Thirimanne struck the ball sharply through long on. Yuvraj leaped high and caught the ball out of thin air just as it appeared that it would fly over the fence.
Despite Yuvi's body's momentum pushing him in the direction of the boundary line, the fielder managed to control his movement and finish a spectacular grab.
