The second Test between Pakistan and West Indies in Multan ended with the visitors winning their first red-ball game in Pakistan after 34 years. With this win, the 2-Test series ended leveled at 1-1.
Pakistan needed 178 to win and sweep the two-match series after being reduced to 76-4 at stumps on the second day, but they lost two fast wickets when Saud Shakeel (13) and Kashif Ali (1) were dismissed cheaply by Kevin Sinclair and Jomel Warrican.
Mohammad Rizwan gave the hosts a fighting chance, hitting 25 runs off 62 deliveries, before being dismissed in the 42nd over by Warrican, who did the majority of the damage with the ball, taking five wickets in the second innings.
Interestingly, Warrican also dismissed Sajid Khan in the second innings and gave him a funny sendoff.
To be noted, in the West Indies second innings, Sajid Khan had done the John Cena ‘You can’t see me’ taunt to Warrican who played and missed against a ripper by the Pakistan spinner. Warrican had just smiled at Sajid Khan’s taunt but didn’t let the thing slide.
In the Pakistan second innings, Sajid Khan was clean bowled by Jomel Warrican for 7 runs in 15 balls and as the Pakistani batter was walking off, Warrican decided to give it back to Sajid Khan.
Warrican did the same “you can’t see me” gesture by John Cena and even did the thigh-five like Sajid, to celebrate his wicket.
