KL Rahul, the India batter, found a new way to get out in the ongoing second four-day match between India A and Australia A being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
KL Rahul and Dhruv Jurel, who are part of the Indian squad for the five-Test series in Australia, were sent early so that they could get valuable practice while playing for India A. While Dhruv Jurel scored a brilliant and fighting 80 runs in the first innings, KL Rahul fell for just 4 runs.
India A posted 161 runs in the first innings and then bowled Australia A out for 223 runs with Marcus Harris top-scoring with 74 runs. Prasidh Krishna picked four wickets for India A, while Mukesh Kumar took three scalps.
In the second innings, it was expected that KL Rahul would make some runs to get some practice under his belt. However, Rahul could only manage 10 runs in 44 balls, before he was bowled by Corey Rocchiccioli. However, how KL Rahul was bowled was extremely bizarre.
Up against spinner Corey Rocchiccioli, Rahul made an absolute mess as he directed the ball onto the stumps in a bizarre manner. He tried to leave the ball that turned sharply, but the ball hit the inside of his left pad and hit the off-stump, sending Rahul back to the pavilion.

While Rahul's form has long been a source of concern for the Indian team, his application has also been under scrutiny. The Karnataka player was replaced by Sarfaraz Khan in the second and third Tests against New Zealand.
