India’s Radha Yadav is known for her brilliant fielding and she has showcased her prowess time and time again. This time it was her two catches in the ongoing second ODI between India and New Zealand women, a video of which went viral on social media.

New Zealand captain Sophie Devine won the toss and chose to bat first at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 27, 2024.

Suzie Bates and Georgia Plimmer added 87 runs in 16 overs for the opening wicket for New Zealand. Bates made 58 and was caught and bowled by Radha Yadav.

Then Plimmer was caught brilliantly by Radha Yadav, who dived full length to her right off the bowling of Deepti Sharma.

Here is the video:

However, the shining moment for Radha Yadav came when she took an amazing catch of Brooke Halliday. Halliday advanced down the track to debutant Priya Mishra and tried to hit the ball in the air towards the off side.

But she managed to only get an edge and the ball flew towards the extra cover region. Radha Yadav sprinted back from her position in covers and put in a full-length dive to pouch an impossible catch with both hands.

This was the first wicket for India debutant Priya Mishra and saw New Zealand slump to 139/4 in the 32nd over.
