Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh gave a personal experience from the 2007/08 Border-Gavaskar series or the tour of Australia, offering a unique viewpoint on the series, which is well known for the 'Monkeygate' incident.

Yuvraj said on the Club Prairie Fire podcast that he was seeing an actress who was in Australia for work at the time.

"I was dating an actress, I won't take her name. (She is) very good at the moment and very experienced. She was shooting in Adelaide," Yuvraj said on the Club Prairie Fire podcast.

Yuvraj asked her not to meet him since he needed to focus on the important series. However, she accompanied him to Canberra.

"I told her, 'Listen, let's not meet for a bit because I'm on the Australia tour and need to focus.’ She actually followed me to Canberra on the bus. In two Tests, I didn't get many runs. And I was like, 'What are you doing here?' And she was like, 'I want to spend time with you'," Yuvraj recalled.

The narrative took a humorous turn when Yuvraj recalled how she packed his suitcase, leaving him with only her pink slip-ons. Yuvraj was compelled to wear the pink slip-ons, and his teammates applauded him as he attempted to disguise them.

"In the morning, I was like 'Where are my shoes? She said, 'I packed them.’ I asked, 'How would I go on the bus’? And she said, 'Wear mine’. "I had to wear pink slip-ons to the airport until I bought flip-flops there,” Yuvraj said.

Yuvraj's admission about his former girlfriend will undoubtedly pique the interest of cricket fans, even though the World Cup winner chose not to share the actress' identity.
