Australia's T20I series win over Scotland ended comically. After completing a 3-0 sweep in Edinburgh, Mitchell Marsh and his men were left baffled by an unusual trophy presentation.

The trophy had resemblance to a traditional Scottish drinking vessel, which they jokingly called an 'ice-cream cup.' The mini-bowl, known in Scotland as a "quaich", is used for drinking whiskey or other beverages.

The entire Aussie team was left in splits when the presenter handed over the trophy to Marsh. The visiting captain couldn’t hide his amusement as well, holding the cup with confusion and smile on his face.

When the Australian players assembled for a group photo, they were unsure of how to pose with the tiny and unconventional trophy.

Fans on social media also saw the finny side of it and shared their hilarious reactions, dubbing the trophy an "ice-cream cup" and even comparing it to a "tea cup".

Here are the reactions:

Coming to the series, Australia won all the games comprehensively to clinch the series 3-0. While the tourists emerged victorious in the first T20I by seven wickets, they won the second and third games by 70 runs and six wickets respectively.
