The second Test of the ongoing two-match series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is now taking place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
On the fourth day of the second and final red-ball match, the hosts were only able to score 172 runs in the second innings, setting a target of 185 runs for Bangladesh to chase down in the fourth innings and win their second match in succession.
A humorous occurrence occurred during Pakistan's batting on the fourth day of play, leaving everyone in stitches. Star Pakistani spinner Abrar Ahmed, who batted at No. 10, was spotted sprinting to the crease to escape being 'timed out'.
The footage of Abrar running to the crease in a haste and Shakib Al Hasan chuckling at the scenario has gone popular online.

Shakib Al Hasan had infamously appealed for timed-out against Angelo Mathews during the Bangladesh v Sri Lanka 2023 World Cup match. Mathews had exceeded the two-minute time limit to take a strike upon arriving at the crease.
Though Mathews explained that the strap of his helmet broke as he was about to take strike and he had to call for a new helmet. This caused the delay in him taking the strike and Shakib Al Hasan appealed to the umpire. The umpire adhered to the laws of the game and Mathews became the first player in the 146-year history of international cricket to be dismissed timed out.
