Rashid Khan, Afghanistan's star, once again demonstrated his all-round abilities during the country's home league, the Shpageeza Cricket League. The Speen Ghar Tigers and Afghanistan's national team captain demonstrated the type of cricket the country is capable of playing.

Rashid's six-hitting spree against Amo Sharks in Match No. 16 on August 20 was notable, as he used some novel strikes from his arsenal. This also included the popular 'no-look' sixes, an effort at the vintage 'helicopter shot', and Rashid attempting to slap the deliveries all over the stadium.

He loved his time at the crease and appeared relaxed despite the rising scoreboard pressure. Rashid has improved his image as an all-rounder and has shown off his batting abilities during difficult chases for his team in the IPL as well.

Chasing a goal of 167 runs, the Tigers were reduced to 20 for five in 2.4 overs. However, skipper Rashid rose to the occasion and saved his squad. He brought the Tigers back into the game with a 73-run combination with Ikram Ali Khil. The captain hammered three fours and six sixes on his way to a 53-run knock in 26 balls.

During his productive time at the crease, he averaged 203.84. Before being dismissed by Mohammad Gul Alizai, he smashed the bowler for three sixes in his first four deliveries.

Earlier, Rashid did a decent job with the ball as well after he got the wicket of opener Abdul Malik to finish with figures of 3-0-20-1.
