New Zealand women's cricketer Xara Jetly was awestruck by Virat Kohli and the aura he carries with him. She has also made it her goal to click a photo with the India legend and post it on her Instagram account.
While she had difficulty selecting a batter from the women's game, she did not hesitate to name Kohli from men's cricket.
Xara helped Wellington Blaze win the previous Women's Super-Smash. The Blaze defeated Canterbury by one run (DLS) in the final at Eden Park in Auckland.
In ten matches, she took nine wickets at an economy rate of 5.59, including a three-wicket haul. Xara was on fire in the One Day competition, which saw Wellington finish second.
Xara has expressed a desire to photograph Kohli and put it on her Instagram account.
"Yeah, this is really basic for me. I'd bowl to...the women's game is tougher, but in the men's game, I wanna bowl to Virat Kohli. If I could take a photo with Virat Kohli and put it on Instagram, that would be the GOAL," Xara said on the 'Fine Legs — The Cricket Podcast'.
Later, Xara also mentioned her dreams on social media while commenting on a post.
"Virat Kohli and I will definitely get an instagram worthy picture together - mark my words!" Xara wrote on Instagram.
Yet to play for the White Ferns, Xara will be looking to break into the national team at the earliest.
