Veteran India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin lost his cool during a Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) match on Wednesday (July 31).
Playing for Dindigul Dragons against Chepauk Super Gillies, Ashwin made an aggressive gesture towards someone and also hurled a mouthful while standing in his team's dugout
It all happened in the 17th over of the chase when his teammate Sharath Kumar escaped a dismissal, with one Chepauk fielder dropping a simple catch.
Ashwin was visibly upset with his team's approach as Dindigul were losing wickets at regular intervals in the final phase of the game. However, Suboth Bhati and S Dinesh Raj stayed unbeaten to take the team over the finishing line.

Ashwin was named Player-of-the-Match in the Eliminator clash. The spin all-rounder returned with the figures of 0/33 in his four overs and then produced a knock of 35-ball 57 in the chase of 159.
Speaking after the game, Ashwin said he'll need to have a chat with his teammates about the near-collapse situation.
"Pressure does these things (on the near collapse), we'll have to have a chat, but the important thing was we closed the game. It was an imperfect game, despite our shoddy bowling and fielding, we kept them down to a low score. As an international and IPL player, the responsibility was with me to do well (with the bat). We haven't played the perfect game, hopefully we'll do well in the coming games. Thankful for the crowd for having turned up," Ashwin said in the post-match presentation ceremony.
Dindigul Dragons will next face IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in Qualifier 2 at Chepauk on Friday (August 2).
