India's star batter Virat Kohli is enjoying his time off from cricket after the T20 World Cup 2024 triumph. He is currently in London with his family.
On Thursday (July 18), a video of Kohli emerged on social media, in which he was seen holding his baby boy Akaay on the streets of London. His actress-wife Anushka Sharma also accompanied the father-son duo.
The newborn was in his dad's arms as Kohli and Anushka were spotted at a flower shop. The 35-year-old flew to London on the same day when he took part in the T20 World Cup victory parade near Marine Drive and then the felicitation ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium.
Virat Kohli announced his retirement from T20Is after India clinched the T20 World Cup 2024 title by defeating South Africa in the final last month. The legendary batter ended his career in the shortest format of the game on a high with a match-winning knock of 76 runs, that too when it mattered the most.
Kohli will now shift his focus to ODIs and Tests with big assignments coming up in the next few months. He has been named in India’s squad for the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, starting on August 2 in Colombo.
