Former Indian team coach Rahul Dravid received a hero's welcome and a guard of honor from young cricketers at a local cricketing academy in Bengaluru. Dravid recently came back from the Caribbean after guiding India to the T20 World Cup 2024 win.
The young players and coaching staff at the cricket school paid respect to Dravid, the former India coach. The children raised their bats, and the academy's coaching staff gave Dravid a thunderous applause. The World Cup-winning coach cheerfully shook hands with everyone and smiled as he received a warm reception.

Rahul Dravid who played for India from 1996-2012 and captained India in the 2007 ICC World Cup, couldn’t win any ICC trophy barring the shared title of the Champions Trophy in 2002.
After the heartbreak of the 2007 World Cup as captain and the 2023 World Cup as a coach, Dravid had a happy ending with a World Cup title under his name.
In a video posted by the Bengaluru's local cricket academy, Dravid expressed his happiness to be back at the ground and nurture the budding talents who will be eager to make a name for themselves in the Indian cricket arena.
