WATCH- Virat Kohli’s reaction to seeing tremendous fan support at Delhi airport

Virat Kohli has retired from T20I format after helping India win the T20 World Cup 2024.

Virat Kohli with his brother Vikas and family members | InstagramIndia cricketer Virat Kohli was overwhelmed and surprised to see the crowd turn up at the Delhi Airport after the T20 World Cup 2024 winning Indian team arrived from Barbados on a special flight.

There was unreal support from the Indian fans who had turned out in huge numbers to give a rousing welcome to the Indian team early in the morning on July 4th, Thursday.

The airport was filled with Indian team cheers, and Virat Kohli and the star batter acknowledged all of the affection that had been showered on them. Kohli was spotted inside the squad bus talking about the number of people who clapped for the team outside the airport.

However, as soon as Kohli settled into his seat on the team bus and looked out the window, he was taken aback by the supporters' excitement.  Kohli waved to the supporters as Team India boarded the van after landing in India.

Another viral video showed Virat Kohli at the ITC Maurya hotel sporting the customized 'India Champions' jersey. The Indian team made a brief stay at the hotel before going to meet PM Narendra Modi who was hosting the team for breakfast.

Virat Kohli also met his family in Delhi as his sister Bhawna Kohli and brother Vikas Kohli had arrived at the ITC Maurya to welcome him back home.
