WATCH- Angry Babar Azam scolds selfie seeking fans after getting mobbed in Cardiff

Pakistan will play third T20I against England in Cardiff on May 28.

Babar Azam | XPakistan white-ball skipper Babar Azam was mobbed by selfie-seeking fans in Cardiff where the Men in Green are prepping for third T20I of the four-match series against England. Pakistan trails 0-1 after two T20Is, out of which the 1st match was washed out due to rains.

In a video shared on social media, the right-handed batter can be heard lecturing spectators and imploring them to give him some space instead of mobbing him. Security officials were also with him.

The Lahore-born batter, dressed in a white t-shirt and cream-colored trousers, has a large fan base. However, Babar was irritated since he appeared occupied and the fans continued harassing him. Out of annoyance, he requested some space.

This comes after Babar Azam’s underwhelming performance in the 2nd T20I, where he could only manage 32 runs off 26 balls. Pakistan needs to win the third T20I against England to remain alive in the series.

England, on the other hand, will be captained by Moeen Ali, as Jos Buttler has been given a leave to attend the birth of his third child.
