Pakistan captain Babar Azam and all-rounder Imad Wasim were seen having an intense argument during the Men in Green’s practice in Lahore camp. Pakistan is set to depart for Ireland and England where they will play a total of 7 T20I matches.

Imad Wasim and Babar Azam have a history together as both played for Pakistan and the same franchise in PSL, the Karachi Kings. However, there was a noticeable rift between the two cricketers as Imad was not considered for the Pakistan team during Babar’s first tenure as captain.

Imad even retired from international cricket in November last year. But he recently made a U-turn and made himself available for Pakistan once again and has been named in the provisional Pakistan squad for the UK tour and T20 World Cup 2024.

As per reports, Babar and the team management were not very happy with Imad's attitude. He had gained a reputation for not being a team man.

The rift was noticeable once agaiing one of the training sessions as the duo were seen having an intense chat over something. There is no word on the topic that they were discussing and it is unlikely that the fans will get to know what Babar and Imad were talking about. Imad was among the bowlers who bowled to Babar Azam.
