Shreyas Iyer of Team India and Mumbai was photographed dancing following his team's Ranji Trophy victory over Vidarbha on day 5 of the first-class championship final on Thursday. As preparations for the award ceremony were underway, the right-handed batter was seen shaking a leg to celebrate their team's incredible 42nd Ranji triumph.

Iyer, dropped from the Test side amid the five-match series against England due to poor returns in the first two matches, made himself available for the Ranji Trophy final.

Despite failing in the first innings, Iyer made a vital contribution in the second innings, as he made 95 runs helping Mumbai amass a steep second-innings score of 418, making them amass a 527-run target.

Vidarbha tried their best to chase the target of 538 runs and Akshar Wadkar scored a century as well, but they were bundled out for 368 runs and lost by 169 runs.

As Mumbai lifted their 42nd Ranji Trophy, Shreyas Iyer, who didn’t take the field due to back issues, was seen dancing to celebrate the victory.
