WATCH- Sachin Tendulkar bats with J&K’s para cricketer Amir Hussain Lone at ISPL inauguration

Tendulkar invited the para cricketer to the opening of ISPL in Thane.

Tendulkar wore the jersey with Lone's name on it and Lone wore Tendulkar's name and number | XCricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's incredible gesture towards Amir Hussain Lone won accolades and praises from the entire fraternity on Wednesda. 

The Master Blaster invited the para-athlete to the opening ceremony of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane, Maharashtra on March 6.

Tendulkar met with Amir during his latest trip to Gulmarg last month and even gave him a signed bat. Amir, the captain of the Jammu and Kashmir para cricket team, was brought inside Tendulkar's room, where they talked for a time and posed for photos that went popular on social media.

Tendulkar invited Amir and his entire family to the ISPL's opening ceremony. The former India captain is a key member of the ISPL, while veteran all-rounder Ravi Shastri serves as the T10 League's Chief Mentor.

Not only this, but Tendulkar and Lone came out to bat together in a special match, featuring likes of Elvish Yadav and Munavar Faruqui, among other stars from the entertainment industry.

Tendulkar also shook a leg with team owners Ram Charan, Akshay Kumar and Suriya. All four were seen dancing to the Oscar-winning song Naatu Naatu on stage before the special cricket match.
