Left-arm pacer Kulwant Khejroliya created history in the Ranji Trophy on Monday after snapping up four wickets in consecutive deliveries during a thumping win over Baroda at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
MP had posted 454 in the first innings and shot Baroda out for 132 to enforce the follow-on in the game. Then Kulwant Khejroliya went on a rampage against Baroda batters, despite Shashwat Rawat scoring a century in the second innings.
However, Shaswat was castled by Khejroliya, who followed it up with three more wickets in three balls. He dismissed Mahesh Pithiya, Bhargav Bhatt and AM Singh, who registered first-ball ducks.
Khejroliya is only the third Indian bowler to record a double hat-trick (four wickets in four balls) in First-Class cricket. Before him, Delhi’s Shankar Saini (1988) and Jammu and Kashmir’s Mohammad Mudashir (2018) achieved this feat.

Mudashir and Khejroliya are now the only bowlers to have bagged a double hat-trick in First-Class and a hat-trick in List-A cricket.
The left-armer then completed a much-deserved maiden FC five-wicket haul by dismissing all-rounder Atit Sheth.

Khejroliya shared his joy on social media. He shared a photo of his Player of the Match medal and the match ball with his bowling figures written on it.
