Australia’s Glenn Maxwell led the way for his team in the ongoing 2nd T20I against West Indies. The match is being played in Adelaide on February 11, 2024. Rovman Powell, the West Indies captain won the toss and chose to field first.
Josh Inglis made 4 and David Warner made 22 in 19 balls. But it was Glenn Maxwell, who stole the show with some outrageous hitting. He made 120* in 55 balls with 12 fours and 8 sixes. Tim David made 31* in 14 balls and Australia posted 241/4 in 20 overs.
This was his 5th T20I ton and he equaled the record for most centuries in T20Is held by Rohit Sharma of India.
The knock played by Glenn Maxwell was amazing as he played some outrageous shots including a 109 meter six and an audacious switch hit for a maximum.
