South Africa spinner Keshav Maharaj took to social media to wish the Indian community in South Africa ahead of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya, set to take place on January 22.
This event will mark the return of Bhagwan Shri Ram back to his rightful place where he was born in Ayodhya. The construction of the temple was permitted by the Supreme Court of India after a long-drawn legal battle.
With donations from common people and celebrities in India, the new and more attractive Ram Mandir will be inaugurated on January 22. Indian cricketers like Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, Ravichandran Ashwin, Anil Kumble, Mithali Raj, and Harmanpreet Kaur have been invittofor the event.
Keshav Maharaj calls himself a proud Hindu and is seen praying to the god on the field as well. He posted a story on his Instagram account and X handle as well in which he congratulated Indian community in South Africa.
"Namaste everyone. I just want to wish my Indian community in South Africa for the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya tomorrow. May be there peace, harmony, and spiritual enlightenment for all. Jai Shree Ram." the South African said in a video.
