India legend Sachin Tendulkar was seen in action in Bengaluru during the ‘One World One Family’ charity match. Sachin Tendulkar, led the One World team, while Yuvraj Singh captained the One Family team.

The match featured yesteryear legends like Danny Morrison, Makhaya Ntini, Mohammad Kaif, Irfan Pathan, Daren Maddy, Romesh Kaluwitharana, Chaminda Vaas, and Muttiah Muralitharan amongst others.

Sachin Tendulkar, who led the One World team, rolled back the years as he scored a brisk 27 runs off just 16 balls, showcasing his timeless batting prowess. He played Makhaya Ntini and Chaminda Vaas with elegance.

His performance was a reminder of his exceptional talent and the joy he has brought to cricket fans around the world throughout his illustrious career.

However, he was dismissed by the first ball bowled by his old adversary, the former Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan. Tendulkar tried to step out and hit a big shot and was out-caught at the boundary.

Tendulkar also picked up a wicket with his spin bowling.

One Family, after winning the toss and choosing to bat first, posted a total of 181 runs, with Darren Maddy contributing significantly with a brilliant 51 off 41 deliveries.

Chasing a target of 181 runs, One World's successful pursuit was anchored by South African Alviro Petersen's impressive 74 off 50 deliveries. Naman Ojha also scored 25 off 18 deliveries before falling to Sri Lanka's veteran Chaminda Vaas.
