Hardik Pandya | InstagramIndia all-rounder Hardik Pandya is keeping his fans updated about his progress from an ankle injury as he shared a new video of his training session.

Hardik has been out of action since injuring his ankle in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 match against Bangladesh in Pune on October 19. As a result, he went on to miss the rest of the World Cup games, the Australia T20I series at home and the white-ball leg of the South Africa tour.

Pandya is not featuring in the ongoing T20I series against Afghanistan too as he is still recovering from his ankle injury.

Multiple reports have claimed that the all-rounder will make his return to competitive cricket with the IPL 2024, where he is slated to the Mumbai Indians (MI) team.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya has been sharing videos from gym sessions for his fans on social media. He posted another clip of his training session on Wednesday (January 17).

In the video, Hardik can be seen performing weight lifting, cardio exercises and meditation. “AM to PM ️ on the grind,” he wrote in the caption.

Notably, Hardik Pandya was appointed MI’s new captain last month. He would be succeeding Rohit Sharma, who led the franchise to five IPL titles in his 10-year stint as skipper.

Pandya was handed the captaincy less than a month after he returned to MI, following a high-profile trade from Gujarat Titans (GT), whom he led in the past two seasons.
