WATCH- Sachin Tendulkar preps for the ‘One World One Family Cup’ charity match

Tendulkar to play a charity match featuring many former cricketers in Sathya Sai Grama near Bengaluru.

Sachin Tendulkar | XIndia legend Sachin Tendulkar has once again padded up and this time for a good cause. He will feature in the ‘One World One Family Cup’ charity match to be played on 18 January 2024 at Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli.

Tendulkar will lead the One World team which also includes Upul Tharanga, Irfan Pathan, Ajantha Mendis, Harbhajan Singh, and Danny Morrison among other legends.

The other team named One Family, will be captained by Yuvraj Singh and will have the likes of Mohammad Kaif, Romesh Kaluwitharana, Muttiah Muralitharan, Makhaya Ntini, Chaminda Vaas, and other esteemed cricketers taking part.

The match will be played on January 18 at the Sai Krishna Cricket Stadium in Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli, Karnataka, making it the first event to be hosted by this venue.

The match aims to leverage the popularity of cricket to draw attention to the pressing issues faced by the underprivileged of our society, and the great work being done by the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar has started preparing for the game, and in a video shared on his X handle, the master looks in great touch even at the age of 50. Tendulkar can be seen flicking and driving two deliveries from almost exactly the same spot, a quality he was known for all through his cricketing career.
