Indian cricket fraternity wishes everyone on the occasion of Pongal, Makar Sankrant, Bihu and Uttarayan

Festival of multiple communities in India fell on the same day as in January 15.

Makar Sankrant is also known as kite flying festival | XOn January 15, the entire India is celebrating a host of festivals across the country. Festivities are galore in India as it celebrates Makar Sankranti, Lohri, Pongal, Uttarayan, and Magh Bihu.

Makar Sankranti is celebrated in North India, while Lohri is a celebration of the Sikh community and is done with lots of enthusiasm in Punjab. Uttarayan is celebrated in Gujarat known for its kite-flying celebration.

Pongal is celebrated in South India, while Magh Bihu is a festival in central and east India, especially Bihar. The festivities are celebrated in traditional ways of their particular region, but all of the festivals bring the nation together as people get to meet each other and share their traditions in a way that makes India a very special place.

And today as the citizens of India celebrate all these festivals across the nation, the Indian cricket fraternity also took to social media to share their wishes.
