Legendary India cricketer Kapil Dev turned 65 on January 06, 2024. Considered to be one of the greatest players produced by India, Kapil Dev is known for winning the Indian team their first World Cup in 1983.
Having made his Test debut for India in 1978, Kapil played 131 Tests and 225 ODIs till his retirement in 1994. He picked 434 Test and 253 ODI wickets, apart from scoring 5248 Test and 3783 ODI runs in his career.
Kapil Dev was also the first Indian to score an ODI century and take a five-wicket haul in ODIs.
Kapil was given a surprise party by his friends on Monday night but the former captain has no plans for celebrations on Tuesday and will spend the day at his home.

The legend celebrated his birthday with friends and family and in a viral video can be seen dancing to classic song “Gulabi Aankhein” from Rajesh Khanna’s movie “The Train”. He was joined on the floor by his wife Romi.
Kapil's dance moves in the video wowed admirers, who widely shared the post online. It was pleasant to watch the man who made the other team dance with his batting and bowling throw in some smooth dances in the video, which is popular among fans.
