Former Pakistan women's cricketer and sports presenter, Urooj Mumtaz, recently surprised many with her bold statement regarding Pakistan's ace batter Babar Azam.
Mumtaz claimed that the Pakistan women captain and star batter, Bismah Maroof, is a better player than the current No.1 ranked ODI batter Babar Azam.
Speaking on an ARY TV show, the former cricketer compared Maroof to Babar, stressing that the Pakistan women’s cricket team captain is like the Babar Azam of women's cricket. She went on to say that, on many occasions, Maroof performs even better than the former Pakistan skipper.

Notably, Bismah Maroof has been an outstanding player for Pakistan in women's cricket, making significant contributions with both the bat and ball.
